Me In A Nut Shell
With 30 plus years of experience in theatre and commercial VO, I began my full time work in Audiobooks in 2020. As an actor I've found it to be the perfect marriage of my two greatest loves: the storytelling of theatre, and voice acting. I hold two degrees in performance, including an MFA from the renowned Old Globe Theatre, in San Diego. My greatest strengths as a storyteller, are in my broad character range, comic timing, and accent work. It is no small task breathing life into another artists work. And I hope to always honor the story the author is telling.
My work was recognized in 2021 when I was an IAA Finalist for Best Female Narrator. Some of my favorite genres to narrate are LitFic, Historical Fiction, Fantasy, and Humor. I particularly love when I am handed a project I never would have dreamed of.
Out of the booth I am an accomplished artist and illustrator. I dearly love to travel, and experience new places and cultures with my husband and our two children. I do subversive cross stitch, and I am rather fond of cats.
I discovered my love of storytelling through "books on tape" at the age of four. After years of work on the stage and in VO, I found my way back to audiobooks! It feels like coming home.
